3000G Sodium Hypochlorite Generator

Reliable disinfection is the final, most critical barrier in wastewater treatment. Many plants face a choice. They can use traditional liquid chlorine, or they can switch to safer, on-site generation.

The SHT-3000G is a high-capacity sodium hypochlorite generator. It is designed specifically for large-scale municipal and industrial wastewater plants. It produces a high-purity disinfectant solution using only salt, water, and also electricity.

This system eliminates the need for hazardous chemical transport. It simplifies logistics. Most importantly, it ensures consistent compliance with environmental standards.

I. Technical Specifications and Core Functionality

SHT-3000G is a “heavy-duty” model. The “3000G” designation refers to its effective chlorine output.

The Electrolysis Process

The core of the system is the electrolytic cell. The process is elegant yet powerful. Firstly, common salt (NaCl) is dissolved to create a saturated brine. This brine is diluted and passed through the electrolyzer.

Low-voltage DC current is applied. This triggers a chemical reaction. The result is a sodium hypochlorite solution with a concentration of approximately 0.8% at the same time.

Why 0.8%?

Stability: At this concentration, the solution is highly stable.

Safety: It is non-combustible and non-explosive.

Minimal Byproducts: It reduces the formation of chlorates compared to high-concentration commercial bleach.

II. Major Product Advantages

SHT-3000G stands out in a crowded market. Its advantages are rooted in engineering excellence and also operational efficiency.

1.Superior Electrolyzer Technology

The electrolyzer is the “heart” of the machine. We use pure titanium electrodes. These are coated with a proprietary Ruthenium-Iridium (Ru-Ir) oxide layer.

Longevity: The coating prevents corrosion.

Efficiency: It lowers the overpotential required for the reaction.

Energy Savings: The SHT-3000G consumes less than 4.0 kWh of electricity per kilogram of effective chlorine produced.

2. Fully Automated Intelligence

The SHT-3000G features a Siemens PLC control system. It is designed for “set it and forget it” operation.

Real-time Monitoring: The system tracks salt consumption, temperature, and also current.

Remote Access: Operators can monitor the system from a smartphone or central control room via Modbus or Ethernet.

Auto-Cleaning: The system includes an automated acid washing cycle to remove scale from electrodes, ensuring peak performance without manual labor at the same time.

3. Cost-Efficiency over Time

While the initial investment is higher than simple dosing pumps, the ROI is rapid.

Low Raw Material Cost: Salt is inexpensive and easy to source.

Reduced Labor: No more unloading heavy drums or managing complex chemical deliveries.

No Degradation: You only produce what you need. You never lose potency due to storage time.
